Hi! I'm Tisha. I'm a current second year A Level Student studying English Literature. I was my school's English Prefect and achieved grades 9 9 in English Literature and Language - English has always been a passion of mine.
I aspire to be like my former English teachers and make English as rewarding and fun to younger students as it was for me!

As a previous GCSE student who struggled and went on to successfully achieve grade 9s, I provide GCSE level tuition to build confidence, unleash potential and conquer exams!
My lessons are personalised to your abilities and are very interactive. I encourage debate and conversation as I have found that this is the best way to learn English.
With GCSE exams in mind, my lessons will focus on helping you tackle exam questions effectively. We will cover a range of skills - essay planning, time keeping, text analysis and essay writing.
I teach both English Literature and Language. Texts I have studied at GCSE include An Inspector Calls, Macbeth and the AQA Love & Relationships poetry text. English, however, is skills based, so don't be discouraged if your texts have not been mentioned.
As I have recently done the GCSE exam, I have many resources that helped me to achieve Grade 9s including flashcards, essay plans and tips and tricks that you may find helpful. Additionally, having just sat them in 2022, I have an in-depth, personal understanding of the current exam system.
