About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma, I am 20 and am currently studying music at the University of Cambridge. I would like to help all those with an interest in either Music or German to further their studies in these areas and can offer a dedicated and enthusiastic approach to each lesson! As well as having Advanced Higher qualifications in both German and Music, I also achieved Grade 8 distinction on both violin and piano in 2015, have gained much musical and orchestral experience though playing and performing with ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, and have spent some time living in Germany. I am very excited to have this opportunity to meet new people and share my enthusiasm and passion for these subjects with them!

German lessons - I aim to combine my extended knowledge of the German language and culture with my experience of the language exams taken in schools to allow pupils to go beyond what they will encounter in the classroom with a more immersive approach to the language, conducting classes in German where possible.
Ideal for secondary school students looking to boost their language skills or prepare for National 5 or Higher level exams.
Music Theory - As a music student I am well equipped to tutor those preparing for school exams from National 5 to Advanced Higher level as well as those preparing for ABRSM style exams such as Grade 5 theory. Practice makes perfect so an emphasis on worked musical examples in any area that the student is struggling in would form a main basis for lessons.
