About Cerys
Hey, I’m Cerys. I’m from the North of England (sadly not Wales like my name suggests so no lovely Welsh accent from me- many apologies for that).
I have tutored one person for their GCSE sciences last year and absolutely loved it hence I’m excited to teach some more. Also, as a PhD student, extra money a long the way is always useful!

I have always been advocate that each person learns vastly differently. What will be exciting and effective for one person will be boring and ineffective for another, hence 1-1 tuition that tailors learning to an individual is a great way to increase passion and grades.
Being a lover of research, I looked into the science behind learning to support my personal studies. I found this highly beneficial, and I am eager to support others to develop and find their ideal learning style.
I also simply find teaching and discussing science lots of fun, hence one of my main aims as a tutor is to help students find the interesting side to the topics I teach instead of just memorising boring facts.
