About Nik
I am a 25 year old PhD student with a focus in biochemistry and have 5 years of research experience in the field. I also have been a teaching assistant for college level biochemistry, and an instructor for general chemistry for the past 3 years.
I really enjoy discussing biochemistry and demystifying this material with students. It's fun and interesting! At the very least, I hope to make these topics seem less daunting.

My teaching methods are based on problem solving, discussing concepts, and providing hands on assistance for students.
A typical lesson plan will start with a quick discussion about where the student is at with the material. From there, the lesson will be supplemented with practice problems that introduce and strengthen concepts for students.
I can be flexible in my style of teaching and if the students needs more help outside of problem solving, I have many figures and slides to help better the students understanding.
My lessons are mainly for biochemistry and general chemistry at a college level, but I am also open to helping high school students who may be covering these concepts as well.
