About James
Hello! My name is James, and I am a passionate tutor with experience supporting learners from primary school through to degree level both academically and socially. I currently teach in primary education after completing my teacher training, and I hold a degree in English Language and Literature from Cardiff University.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping people grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are adapted to their needs and taught in a supportive, engaging way. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, build strong understanding, and help students feel proud of their progress both inside and outside the classroom.

I am a passionate and engaging tutor with experience teaching and supporting learners of all ages, from primary education through to degree level study. I specialise in English and Literacy, while also providing support in Mathematics and study skills. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, helping to build confidence, independence, and academic success through clear explanations and structured guidance. With a degree in English Language and Literature and current classroom teaching experience, I create supportive and interactive lessons that make learning enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding for every learner.
