About Bryce
I have a passion for explaining Physics concepts in various ways, learning how others learn, and adapting my teaching methods to meet their needs. In my first year of A Levels, I struggled with low grades and poor academic performance due to a lack of understanding of the concepts. I made mistakes; however, due to those mistakes, I managed to learn methods of studying that made year 2 feel much easier. The jump from GCSE to A Levels was big, and I feel that without help, that jump can hinder confidence greatly. My motivation to tutor is to support students through that jump and help them succeed in their careers. My time during A Levels & University gave me so many different perspectives on problems and gave me skills to succeed - my goal is to build the same confidence in other students.

When teaching Physics, I focus on building understanding rather than rote memorisation. The most effective way to succeed in STEM at A Level is to understand concepts using methods that work for you - whether through diagrams or real-world analogies. My goal is to give students the tools to think critically and draw connections through different topics, building their confidence. Lesson length - 1-2 hours. Lessons are for A Level & GCSE students. My experience: During my A Levels 2 years ago, my friends and I created a tutoring group where we went through questions and topics together. I focused on helping them develop their understanding and their approaches through problem-solving. This gave me an insight into various ways people could think through questions.
