Techniques and Teaching Methodology:

Personalized Learning Plans:

I begin by assessing each student’s current understanding, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Based on this assessment, I create a customised learning plan tailored to meet their individual needs and goals.

Conceptual Understanding:

Emphasis is placed on ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts before moving on to more advanced topics.
I use a variety of teaching tools and methods, including visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to make abstract concepts more tangible.

Interactive and Engaging Lessons:

Lessons are designed to be interactive to keep students engaged and actively participating.
I encourage questions and foster a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

Regular Practice and Feedback:

I provide plenty of practice problems to help students apply what they’ve learned.
Regular feedback is given to help students understand their mistakes and learn how to correct them.

Study and Exam Strategies:

I teach effective study habits and exam strategies to help students become more efficient and confident in their learning.
Time management and organisational skills are also incorporated into my teaching.

Typical Length of a Lesson:

Lessons typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the age and concentration span of the student.
For younger primary school students, shorter sessions around 45 minutes can be more effective.
The frequency of lessons can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and availability.
