About Samica
I am currently a sophomore at the Wharton School of Business studying economics and business analytics. Professionally, I worked as an intern at a private equity firm in California, deep diving into the new world of tech investments. However, in my free time, I am captain of my nationally-ranked college dance team.
I am a highly motivated individual who would love to see students get more resources to help prepare for such a test like the SAT. I self-studied, and learned by own tricks and techniques that allowed me to get a 1560 on the test and get into Top 10 schools in the country.

As a student myself at an Ivy League university who had to self learn through high school for the SAT, I realize that the only way to crack such a hard test is by understanding the analytical tips and tricks tested by the SAT.
My lesson plans include going over one technique at a time, doing practice problems, walking through them with students, and then allowing them to try a few by themselves.
The most important thing to succeed on the SAT is to practice, practice, practice. While students lack the self discipline to that by themselves, having a tutor like me that drives them to continually practice until the day of their test will allow them to succeed to the best of their ability.
As a student myself, I employ a different type of tone and relationship with my students. I try to become friends with them, so that they are more receptive to our sessions than they would be with someone who is cold and treats them like any other student.
