About Felix
I am a dedicated and approachable music tutor who loves the theory and structure behind music. I love exploring what makes music work, from essential building blocks of pitch and rhythm elements to the rules that shape musical notation. I aim to help students understand how music functions, not just for the sake of passing an exam, but to give them actual confidence in their musical knowledge, which will support them in performance, practice and sight-reading. My goal is to make music theory clear, engaging, and even enjoyable, while ensuring students feel fully prepared and supported.

I offer 30-minute to one-hour online lessons, in which I break down the content of the course into clear and manageable steps. As the student builds up confidence in these fundamental areas, we would then tackle practice questions in the style of the exam. I will set homework on the content of the lesson and also share revision resources for students to use and prepare for the exam. These lessons are designed for anyone preparing to take an ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam. I have tutored music theory for a year now and I am currently studying Music at Oxford University.
