About Makena

I am a current second year at UCLA studying psychobiology in the premed route! I am very passionate about teaching to kids and sharing what worked for me to help improve their academics and life as well! As a tutor, I hope to explore my passions in teaching and help them gain a love for math.

About the lesson

In high school, I pursued our advanced math pathway, taking AP Calc AB and BC, getting As and a 5 in both classes! As someone who didn’t enjoy math growing up, I learned to enjoy it after learning study techniques! I can help my students learn these techniques and apply it to their classes.
