About Ruthie
I am an academic at heart, I love working with people and that is why I tutor.
I studied the IB in high school, and achieved only 7's (equivalent A*) and 6's (equivalents A). Therefore I feel that I am well equipped to help you reach your academic potential.

For Academic English, I think the most important parts of the lesson is in teaching you a variety of skills, as the breath of English Literature and Academic English is so broad.
I also find that a large part of Academic English is understanding the fundamentals in order to convey your ideas eloquently. So I would set specific tasks aspects such as grammar and syntax as well.
The lessons would mostly firstly address your concerns about the subject. The when we have got to know each other and I understand your skill in the subject I would set homework, and then we would go through it in the lessons to see specific areas of weakness to work on.
