About Elise
I am currently a senior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in biology on the pre-medical track. I took the MCAT in April 2024 and scored a 523. Additionally, I have experience as an AI in a chemistry laboratory course and as a volunteer math and english tutor. I love helping people learn, and I am looking forward to helping people achieve their goal of becoming a physician!

- I offer MCAT tutoring to premedical students preparing for the MCAT.
- A typical lesson will be one hour in length, beginning with any questions they have from their recent studying or practice exams. Following this, we can discuss which subjects the student feels need the most work and complete or review practice problems in this subject. With that being said, I am flexible and am willing to work with different session lengths or activities!
- I am a firm believer in practice problems for effective learning! I will work practice problems with students, providing strategies that encourage independent problem solving.
- I completed the Altius MCAT prep course and utilized their tutoring and class sessions. I try to use their engaging teaching style in my sessions and like their strategy to review exams, but I also know that often students know their own learning style. I am willing to work with what exercises or strategies the student feels are helping them the most.
