Although I am new to tutoring, I am experienced in teaching.

Hi,
I am currently teaching in Year 6 and have the role as a whole school literacy coordinator. I have been teaching for 5 years and have previously taught Year 5.
My strengths are teaching Maths and Literacy in upper Key Stage 2.
I teach very structured lessons especially when teaching SPAG. The method I practice is identify, practice and apply. This has a brilliant outcome for my children as it allows them to first gain an understanding of the terminology by identifying it, then they are able to practice using it and then they can apply it to a piece of writing.
