About Nusrat
I am a current Year 5 Teaching Assistant with a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and an MSc in Mental Health in Context. My experience working with children, combined with my background in psychology, has given me a strong understanding of how to support different learning styles. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy learning in a supportive environment.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I aim to create a supportive, encouraging and engaging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I can provide support with English, reading, spelling, handwriting, homework help, study skills and creative activities such as art. As a current Year 5 Teaching Assistant, I understand the importance of adapting lessons to suit each child’s pace and helping them develop a positive attitude towards learning while making progress towards their goals.
