About Hemani
From a personal point of view, I find sharing knowledge and seeing other students develop as a result of my advice, incredibly satisfying. I would say people find my teaching style quite direct and enjoyable (I often slip in random interesting facts about various corners of science). I have a strong viewpoint that studying should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. Anyone can enjoy a subject once they find their spark.

As a current student, I have a realistic insight and understanding into learning methods and what revision techniques actually work, and which do not. I feel there should be a strong emphasis on igniting a student's passion in a subject, something that schools often are not able to kindle.
I have a wide range of resources available for my students and am able to guide tutees through developing effective chains of reasoning for exam questions, as well as guide them through making an effective and balanced revision plan which can cater for all of their subjects and commitments.
Although I am a mere student myself, I have done extensive research into study techniques and how to apply them.
I have previously tutored KS2 mathematics, and would be happy to tutor for SAT's, however my preferred student category would be KS3 and GCSE. My lessons generally range from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, so am quite flexible with timings. My personal GCSE, FSMQ grades and my A-Level predicted ones are available on request.
