I love language. I study language and read foreign literature every day. I have three degrees in language, and I am working on my fourth. I know how to learn a language, and I can pass this information on to my students.

Japanese
I teach using activities. The most common activity is an information gap exercise. I try to apply language to a students life. I change the activities to make each lesson new and interesting. I try not to use the books; especially, Japanese for Busy People. It should be renamed to "Japanese for People on Life support". If I were to nominate a book, it would be Modern Japanese. I know it is a little old, but I think it works well.
