Hello! I'm marina who's based in Japan.
As a person who learnt English through what I loved -Broadway musicals, American and British TV shows, Disney- I know that your own passion/interest will be the biggest supporter in order to achieve your goals. So I wholeheartedly recommend you to choose (some of) your own teaching materials too- for example, Japanese songs, books, TikTok videos etc. But of course, I could choose them too if you'd prefer that way.

Perfect! Really fun lesson. Marina made me feel very comfortable by catering the lesson towards my needs and understanding!
Perfect! Marina always has a lesson plan ready and sets homework to recap what has been learned in the lesson, briefly going over aspects of last weeks lesson also helps.
Marina regularly checks that i understand the lesson she is approachable, friendly and a patient teacher.- Paul is always motivated and open to learn new things even when they are tricky to comprehend.
