I guide students by asking them how they would do a question and what their basic understanding is, so that I know what level they are working at; mistakes are not real, only happy little accidents, therefore no student should be shamed for getting something incorrect, which is why my style includes getting to know their method, so that I can explain how to do it in a more easy way, without them feeling upset.
It is important for students to point out my flaws, considering I am new to the tutoring experience, and only until my students provide me with criticism about my teaching will I be able to become the best.
Lastly, ask any questions! Every question, is a good question!
