About Sirenia
Sirenia's approach draws from the best of multiple worlds. Rooted in the Suzuki philosophy — that every student has the capacity to learn and flourish — her teaching is enriched by classical technique and shaped by each student's own personality and pace. There's no rigid one-size-fits-all formula here.

Teaching Method:
A blend of Suzuki, classical technique, and student-led discovery. Sirenia listens as much as she instructs — adapting every lesson to the student's pace, personality, and goals, so learning always feels purposeful and personal.
Typical Lesson:
Each lesson opens with scales and technique, moves into assigned repertoire and practical music theory, then closes with a student-chosen piece — keeping structure and joy in equal measure every single time.

Patience, warmth, and genuine fun — paired with real musical rigor. Students have a voice in their learning, and that ownership keeps them motivated. Plus: expertise in both violin and viola under one teacher.
Who lessons are for:
Open to ages 9 and up — kids, teens, adults, and college students. All levels welcome: complete beginners through advanced audition prep, including violinists looking to cross over to viola.
