About Leo
I am a sophomore at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Applied Mathematics. Personally, I love the education industry and believe that education should not be stereotypical, but flexible and accessible to all. In school, teachers cannot take care of every student, but in a one-on-one situation, they can adjust the pace of the course according to the student's situation. And education is not just about knowledge from books, but about different ideas, which some teachers cannot do today, and which is what I want to do.

I will do more to help students understand the different concepts in mathematics from the ground up, rather than stereotyping students to memorize formulas and mechanically work through problems. I have tutored other A-level students in high school and they have all done well in the end. I usually plan to spend a few lessons helping students to understand the concepts, followed by a lesson or two on practice and problem solving. Usually a session lasts about 1 hour.
