About Hammad
I’m Hammad Khan, a cybersecurity professional focused on Security Operations, Threat Hunting, and Ethical Penetration Testing. My path into cybersecurity wasn’t traditional—I graduated with an F.Sc (Pre-Medical) in 2020 and completely pivoted through disciplined, self-directed learning. Over the past few years, I’ve earned 17+ industry-recognized certifications, built a fully functional SOC home lab using the ELK stack, and completed intensive job simulations covering malware incident response, zero-day threat containment, and enterprise IAM architecture. I don’t rely on theory alone; I test everything in real environments, automate where I can, and document what actually works.
Why I Want to Teach
I’m stepping into tutoring because I know exactly how overwhelming cybersecurity feels when you’re starting from zero. I spent countless hours piecing together scattered resources, debugging lab setups, and figuring out which skills actually matter for real roles and certifications. Now, I want to shortcut that journey for others.
I teach because:
I’ve been the beginner – I understand the frustration of jargon-heavy courses and know how to break concepts down into clear, actionable steps.
I believe in learning by doing – You won’t just watch me explain; you’ll configure SIEM rules, run vulnerability scans, and walk through incident playbooks alongside me.
I want to bridge the gap – Many learners collect certificates but still feel unprepared for real tasks. I focus on the hands-on, job-ready skills that hiring managers actually look for.
It’s my way of giving back – Cybersecurity changed my career trajectory, and I’m passionate about helping others whether career switchers, students, or IT pros build the same confidence and capability.
