About Freya
I am a young, energetic person excited to educate the next generation of dancers and dramatists. I have studied several forms of Dance since I was 4 years old and Drama soon after. I have achieved GCSE, A Level and BA (Hons) qualifications in both disciplines. Throughout my years in the arts, I have had the pleasure to work closely with and teach children and adults with varying special educational needs and disabilities. These include but aren't limited to Down's Syndrome, Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy. I have worked as a dancer and actor in schools educating children at both a Primary and Secondary level. I also have many years of experience both onstage and behind the curtain in musicals and plays, including various Shakespeare plays as well as mainstream musicals and plays. I have studied and performed a range of different genres from comedy to horror.

I focus on helping the student understand the content by tailoring lessons, combining theory and practice when applicable and using various teaching techniques. My practice is accessible, engaging and inclusive for all; with experience with various SEND needs and varying ages. Average lesson length 45mins-1hr30, flexibility available. Tutoring primarily for high school, college and university students however open to all ages and have lots of experience with both young and mature students.

Perfect! Freya has been a fantastic support to my daughter helping her prepare for her Dance GCSE theory exam. She has a great knowledge of the subject and makes the lessons fun and enjoyable.
Perfect! I cannot speak more highly of Freya. She has been tutoring my daughter for GCSE dance. There has been a huge growth in my daughter’s knowledge and confidence thanks to Freya. She is able to adapt her teaching style to suit the child, finding ways to enable them to relate to and remember the information. I’m delighted we found her.
