About Mia
My name is Mia Craig, I am a 21 year old recent graduate from The University of East London, with a BA in Urban Dance Practice. I am currently studying at London Studio Centre doing a MA in Dance Production and Management. I have 19 years of dance experience training in various styles such as hip hop, house, commercial, contemporary, heels, modern, ballet, jazz, bollywood, locking and many more. I am an experienced choreographer with high knowledge and interest within the industry. Alongside dance, I am also very knowledgeable in the human body and how it is affected by exercise. Due to the nature of my job being heavily involved in exercising, I am highly skilled in stretching and rehabilitation exercises for muscle flexibility and fitness for dancers to increase their stamina.

My teaching style is open and encouraging to everybody, making sure you always feel confident and comfortable within your body and your movements. Whether your goal is to learn dance for fitness and confidence reasons, or as additional practice on top of anything you're already studying, I'd love to be able to help and give you the extra friendly push! I am also experienced in teaching young children, whether that be musical theatre dance classes, birthday parties or anything in-between, please feel free to contact me! I teach various different levels ranging from beginners to advanced in all ages from young toddlers to older adults. In the past I have choreographed routines for theatre based shows and MOVE IT 2024. I have an Enhanced DBS and Public liability insurance.
