About Melissa
Degree in Performing Arts with a specialty in contemporary dance, I studied at the University of Sonora (2009-2013).
Some of my works have been: Mazatlan Carnival 2020, Hospitality (2019), Choreographer and dancer of the Musical Capricho (2018), Show “Catharsis” (2017-2018), Actress and dancer of the work Corazonada (2015- 2018), El viaje de una Estrella with Lis Vega (2016), Interpreter in the opera of “Alicia en el mundo de la Maravillas” (2016) “Festival Revueltas 2016”, among others, as a choreographer and dancer of contemporary dance I have worked in festivals within the Mexican Republic.
I have given body expression workshops for children from 1st to 3rd grade, jazz fusion classes, lyrical jazz, Latin rhythms for beginners, jazz funk, different urban styles, and contemporary dance classes.
As a choreographer I have worked in different business, social and cultural events, I was a choreographer of a musical. I choreograph people who are not professionals and professionals. I have also participated as an actress in plays.

The classes I teach are:

I like to make my class dynamic, create a space in which the student feel safe expressing their emotions through dance, without leaving technique aside. For me the bases are very important because thanks to this the student learns to know and take care of his body.
My goal is to encourage and motivate people to communicate through dance, regardless of their age, to provide them not only with a discipline, but also with a lifestyle that is built with passion, dedication and above all with the desire to learn.
