About Julia
I am currently pursuing my BFA in Dance at The Ailey School in NYC. I have won awards for both Dance Performance and Choreography through the National Honors Society for Dance Arts and various Break The Floor dance conventions. I am eager to share my passion with new students.

As I approach teaching dance I strive to blend the important aspects of technique and artistry. I believe traditional techniques such as ballet, modern, and jazz give dancers the strength to achieve difficult movements, although I believe the movement does not become beautiful until they learn to love the steps and find their own artistry.
