About Karthik

I’m an engineer in electrical engineering, and an MBA in operations research. In my academic career, I’ve cleared competitive exams like the AIEEE/BITSAT/CAT/SNAP, mostly in the top 2-5 percentile. I have been giving maths classes for the last 3 years, and love teaching young minds from the basics.

I base my teaching from first principles. For example, if someone where to ask me what’s the derivative of x^2, I’d actually sit down and explain how we arrive at the answer (2x), and what it actually means in the real world, instead of teaching them to answer exam questions (which they’ll be able to do equally well :))
