An Engineer by training and Data Scientist by profession, I have worked as an Assistant Professor for 4 years. I have 2+ years of experience with private tutoring mostly teaching Elementary and High School Math, English ,SSAT, IELTS, Statistics and Programming.

My methodology behind teaching is to enable the students to figure out their problem areas/key areas and accordingly find means to make the learning fun with a lot of practical applications. Working together with the student, we figure out the lesson plan that suits their learning style best.
I believe in cultivating a comfortable relationship with the students so there is no hesitation from their end to communicate if some topics are tough to understand or if the teaching style isnt working for them etc. I have been teaching and mentoring students since more than 7 years now and I find this job very satisfying and fulfilling.

Richa helped my 2 10 year old girls tutor Math and English on a weekly basis, and then eventually helping the girls with their SSAT exam. With only 2 months of prep time, the girls went through a condensed Math course with Richa, and in the end they scored 78 and 69 percentile, and went on to be accepted by 2 of 3 private schools. Richa is one of the few teachers that truly and genuinely cares for her students, she even walked my girls home when they had a night class! I would recommend Richa for sure.
