Diagnosing the student’s starting point — identifying skill gaps, misconceptions, and strengths through quick assessments or discussion.
Breaking concepts into simple, intuitive explanations using analogies, visuals, and step-by-step reasoning.
Active learning — prompting the student to think aloud, solve small problems, and ask questions throughout the session.
Mastery-based progression — I do not move on until the learner confidently grasps the current concept.
