About David
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have performed three times at the BBC Proms as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. At Cambridge I was awarded the Derek Cornwell Instrumental Scholarship two years in a row, and also was a laureate of the Concerto Competition on two occasions. Outside of Cambridge I have won various prizes including the Howarth Prize for the Most Outstanding Reed Player at the North London Music Festival in 2014. I've been tutoring since I graduated from Cambridge in June 2014, working with pupils of all ages and standards.

Clarinet, Piano
- Tell me about your qualifications.
ABRSM Grade 8 distinction on clarinet (2005) and piano (2008).
In 2017 I am due to graduate with an MA on the clarinet from the Royal Academy of Music.
- How much do you charge?
Your first taster lesson is free of charge. Lessons are £32/hr.
- Where do you teach?
I can travel to you, or teach at the Matrix Music School in Sutton Courtenay.
- When are you available?
I am flexible and teach throughout the year.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages from 7 upwards and from beginners to advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare you for graded examinations if we agree that this would be the right path to pursue.
