About Matthew
My name is Matthew Jones and I'm a Software Developer by trade, and part-time tutor/contractor. I graduated with a Computing MSc in 2018, and I've worked in software houses for over six years.
Whilst the Internet is a useful tool for learning to program, I have set up my own approach to teaching beginners, which keeps the process of learning fun and engaging. This uses various frameworks such as the Angular web framework, Visual Studio & Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to teach students various programming languages (HTML/CSS, Typescript, C# and SQL).
Whilst this sounds daunting, it simply gives my students a working customised 'website-to-database' model which can be expanded and improved at their own pace, and will provide a solid foundation.
I am also available for other C#/Java/SQL based tutoring, and small contracting projects.
