About Amthompson
I have been a nurse for 16 years, with 13 of those teaching nursing students. I am currently a Dean of a BSN program and I have been teaching NCLEX seminars in multiple states for 3 years. My specialties are med-surg and maternal and newborn care. I’m an expert in labor and delivery, fetal monitoring, NRP, and postpartum care. Additionally, I have extensive experience in med-surg, both at the bedside and teaching in the classroom and clinical. Lastly, I hold a master’s in nursing education degree and I am a PhD candidate, focusing on nursing education.
