I have worked with Debbie since Year 8 on both Maths and English. I am feeling extremely confident in attaining at least a B in Maths. My predicted grade has escalated and Debbie has given me the confidence. With regard to my English, she has provided me with strategies which have made a difference and should give me the C 's I need to continue with a levels. Thank you Debbie. You have understood my needs.

.I have been home schooled by Debbie since January 2014. She has boosted my confidence in my learning that I am now ready to go back to school after Easter where I hope to make new friends. Debbie will carry on tutoring me once a week.

My name is Lee and with Debbie's support I have achieved the C I needed in my GCSE. She has been fantastic. Thank you.

Working with Debbie, my GCSE grades at the end of Year 10 have increased in Maths and Literacy from D to C grades. I am now writing more quality material across all subjects and my confidence has also increased considerably. I have dyslexia so organising my thoughts onto paper does not come easily.

I struggle with number work and word problems as a result of my dyslexia. Debbie has supported me with my mental recall of numbers using fun activities for me to retain the information. This increased my confidence and enabled me to complete Year 6 SATS. My grade improved to level 3 so I could be entered. I have just had my SATS results and achieved a Level 4. Thank you Debbie.

I have worked with Debbie on my English. At the beginning of the year my grade was 5C. I have just achieved a 6C. The progress has been because Debbie has given me confidence; I can now plan my work in an organised way. Before,I
had the ideas but found it difficult to start my writing. This has improved my grades in all subjects. We have worked on my comprehension tackling questions and being shown how to answer them. I am grateful to my tutor.

During this year Debbie has increased my confidence in tackling my Maths i have been diagnosed with dyscalculia. Recently,i was given a Maths paper to complete and after 4 years stuck on the same leve,l in a few months, with Debbie's encouragement I have moved 2 sub levels. I now find Maths fun.

I have enjoyed working with Debbie this year, as she has made Maths easy for me to understand. I have improved in my n umber work and will now tackle difficult sums with confidence. Today I received a gold award for my Maths from my headteacher. Not many children get these.

I would recomend Debbie as a tutor, as she has made learning fun and not at all boring.

I have dyslexia and Debbie has encouraged me to get my words on paper and not be frightened to have a go, even if my spellings are wrong. I have gained confidence and my family feel that I have made massive steps forward with my writing.


I have been awarded a golden certificate for " effort to improve my writing at home and school," which makes me feel good about myself.
