About Me
I am a dedicated and experienced elementary educator with over a decade of teaching experience across the Philippines, Japan, and the United States. I am currently completing my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, which allows me to apply research-based and developmentally appropriate practices in every lesson I teach. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse learners and understand that every child learns differently. I maintain a structured yet supportive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow academically and emotionally. I value clear communication, preparation, and consistency, and I take pride in providing high-quality, professional instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Parents and students can expect well-planned lessons, patience, and a genuine commitment to student progress. My goal is not only to support academic success but also to help students build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, supportive, and engaging. I focus on helping elementary students feel confident and comfortable while learning, using developmentally appropriate strategies based on early childhood education research. I believe children learn best when lessons are interactive, clear, and connected to real-life experiences.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review, followed by a short, focused lesson using visuals, stories, or hands-on activities. Students then practice the skill with guidance and encouragement, and we wrap up with a simple check for understanding or fun review activity.
What sets me apart is my international teaching experience. I have taught in the Philippines and Japan and am currently teaching in the United States, with over a decade of experience working with young learners. I am also finishing my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, which helps me tailor lessons to each child’s needs.
My lessons are for preschool and elementary students who need extra support, enrichment, or confidence-building in reading, writing, math, and foundational skills. I also enjoy working with English language learners in a patient and encouraging way.
