About Savannah
With over 12 years of ESL teaching experience, I focus on helping college students gain fluency and clarity in English communication. I understand that many learners struggle with academic writing and speaking confidence, so I provide step-by-step guidance to simplify complex concepts. My lessons cover grammar improvement, vocabulary expansion, essay organisation, reading comprehension, and pronunciation practice.
I design interactive sessions that include guided discussions, structured writing exercises, listening tasks, and real-world examples. I believe that combining traditional methods with modern digital tools makes learning more effective, so I integrate multimedia content and online practice activities.
I create a positive and respectful environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Regular feedback and goal setting are important parts of my teaching process. My ESL teaching methodology focuses on practical learning and real communication. I believe students learn English best when they use it in real-life situations. I include real-life examples and case studies such as office meetings, interviews, travel conversations, classroom discussions, and social interactions.
This helps students apply English naturally and confidently. Motivation is a key part of my teaching. I encourage students to set realistic goals and work steadily towards improvement.
I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking and learning from mistakes. When students face difficulties, I use problem-solving strategies to identify weak areas and explain concepts in simple steps. I provide structured practice to improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency.
Integrity guides my professional conduct, and I offer honest and constructive feedback. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to the student’s level and pace. Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, grammar basics, academic writing, and interview preparation.
