About Anjali
A versatile and accomplished Hindustani vocalist and composer, she brings together the timeless depth of Indian classical music with a contemporary and expressive artistic sensibility.
She holds a Master’s degree in Music from Baroda College of Music and has undergone advanced musical training under distinguished gurus like legendary Bollywood playback singer Suresh Wadkar & Padma Wadkar, Dr. Rajesh Kelkar including Dr. Janki, with her artistic journey deeply influenced by the rich musical heritage of the (Kirana Gharana) and the legacy of Dr. Prabha Atre.
Her artistry extends beyond traditional performance. As an independent singer and composer, she has released original music on YouTube and has lent her voice to the OTT short film Brahm, reflecting her versatility across classical, contemporary, and cinematic forms.
Since 2016, she has been associated with the Suresh Wadkar Academy, Mumbai, as a dedicated music faculty member. Over the years, she has had the distinction of mentoring and inspiring 100+ students across the globe, sharing the nuances of Hindustani vocal music through both in-person and worldwide online classes.
For her, music is not merely a performance—it is a means of expression, connection, and healing. She has also conducted special classical music sessions for cancer patients, creating meaningful musical experiences that transcend the boundaries of the concert stage.
As a performer, she has captivated audiences across India with her soulful presentations of Hindustani classical, semi-classical, Ghazal, and Bollywood music. Her performances are characterized by a distinctive blend of technical finesse, emotional depth, lyrical sensitivity, and an effortless connection with her audience.
