"I am an active violin teacher with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My absolute passion is exploring the cutting edge of contemporary violin styles rather than just sticking to the standard classical repertoire. I specialize in teaching students how to master cinematic music, popular string covers, live looping, and the electric violin.
In our lessons, we dive deep into modern performance techniques like layering tracks, spontaneous improvisation, and utilizing effects pedals and music apps. I love showing students how to plug into an amplifier and use a delay pedal to create a massive, symphonic sound all by themselves. This hands-on method allows you to modernize your violin playing while keeping your daily practice sessions incredibly fresh and exciting.
I make sure you build a strong physical foundation on the instrument while letting your creative curiosity guide our weekly goals. Whether you want to write your own backing tracks or recreate your favorite radio hits, my studio is a safe space to experiment.
