I have a degree in English from the University of Caxias do Sul and have been working for over 5 years in a language schools and with private classes. I consider conversation practice really important and I am very flexible regarding the methodology. When the student chooses to use a book to guide the work, I really like the American English File, but nothing prevents us from analyzing other materials :)
