About Laura
I study English, German and Croatian at the University of Trieste (former school of interpreters) and I am enrolled in the last year of the three-year course. In addition to my personal interest in the English language, I had the opportunity to live 5 months in Australia during high school thanks to a student exchange program. This allowed me to improve my knowledge of the language and above all the pronunciation.

I have no "official" teaching experience but I have helped many friends prepare English level certification exams. I can help students of any level, from middle and high schools but also adults who are looking to improve their language skills or who are preparing for a certification. I personally have only taken a Cambridge Institute certification exam, but I also know the exam methods of other certifications, such as the IELTS, usually in great demand by universities. Personally I think it is very useful to combine the study of grammar with an active use of the language, so I would like to carry out my lessons in English. I also know, however, that not everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves immediately in a foreign language, so I am also available to give lessons in Italian (at least the first few times;)). Depending on the student's needs, I can focus more on studying and explaining the rules of grammar, rather than on written production or making conversation.
