About Monique
I am a 23 year old first year dental student. Before I started university, I worked at a secondary school and sixth form in two different roles. As a student support intern in the sixth form, I mentored students and guided them with their A level journeys as well as UCAS applications and interviews. I also provided 1-1 study sessions as well as small group revision. I also have a year experience teaching GCSE and A level business studies to year 9,10 and 12 students.
I remember studying for my GCSEs and A levels and being overwhelmed with the amount of content and differing exam style questions and I would’ve benefitted massively from having a tutor guide and support my learning. Regardless of your current achievements or grades, I am here to support you reach your full potential and give you the confidence to get the results you want.

I have experience in teaching Business Studies to GCSE and A-Level students of all levels and targets. I have experience in marking mock exam questions so my focus is learning the syllabus content and then always applying that knowledge to an exam question to help students get the best out of their revision for exams! Sometimes it can be tricky to know what a question is asking of you and what writing skills you need to demonstrate to get more than just the knowledge marks. Long extended essays can be hard to structure and develop concise yet critical analysis to, therefore I always include evaluation points in to help you maximise marks.
My lessons can be between an hour to an hour and a half depending on your needs. After two years of mentoring a variety of students with differing needs and abilities, I am confident in my ability as a tutor to help you improve and reach the target you are aiming for.
