About LEE
After more than 30 years working in the commercial and retail design industry, I’d like to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained with the next generation of designers.
Both with my own design business and in previous design roles for other companies, I've enjoyed helping people understand design, the space planning process and the technical drawing production.
I’m particularly keen to support individuals who may lack confidence or need a little extra guidance, as I find it extremely rewarding to see people develop their skills and confidence. I want to make learning practical, straightforward and enjoyable, while giving individuals an insight into how the skills they learn are used in the design industry.

My name is Lee, I have a degree in Interior Design with over 30 years of professional design experience, 17+ years of which running my own business, predominantly within the commercial and retail sectors.
I offer practical, industry-focused online tuition designed to help students, early career professionals and individuals looking to learn new design skills, not only how to produce drawings and designs, but also why they are produced in a particular way.
I provide a friendly, practical online tuition via Microsoft Teams, adapting each lesson to your ability and goals. I use screen sharing and step-by-step demonstrations, followed by practical exercises to learning

Lessons are typically 1 hour, with longer sessions available if required.
With over 30 years of design experience, my teaching is based on practical, real world design knowledge gained from working with a large variety of clients throughout the commercial and retail industries.
There is no requirement to have previous experience. Whether you are starting from scratch, struggling with a particular project, or looking to develop your existing skills, lessons can be tailored to your individual level and objectives.
My goal is to make online learning practical, approachable and enjoyable, while giving individuals the confidence and technical ability to progress in their studies or careers.
