About Dana
Having taught for 15+ years in the public school system as well as on the university level, I have seen all kinds of writing assignments from nursing reports to literary analyses to college admissions essays.
Whatever the assignment is, I will always make sure to align my approach with the objectives of the assignment and your own personal needs as a learner. I know there are all types of learners, and I'm very flexible.
I'm also a published writer and I have two Master's degrees in Education, so you can count on me to help you get that 'A' on any paper you may need help with, however small or big!

I have tons of experience with high school English, as well as college-level writing. I can help you with any assignment or stage of the writing process, from outlining a research paper to analyzing a poem to ensuring your paper is grammatically-sound and polished.
At the start of our tutoring session, we will review the objectives of your assignment, and we will discuss your own concerns and thoughts. We will then come up with a plan about when and how you'd like the tutoring.
For example, if you just need a paper edited, I can make comments and edits within your document and we can collaborate via google docs, or we can do a live session where we go through the assignment together as you take notes and ask questions, and I can give you some homework for our next session. Whatever the case calls for, we can work out something based on your needs and preferences!
