About Fujia

I started learning piano at the age of five and continued my training until I was twelve, so I deeply understand how challenging it can be for children to stay motivated with daily practice. At the same time, I also know how essential consistent and efficient practice is for long-term progress. As a tutor, I use an encouraging and supportive approach. I help students discover the joy of music while guiding them through their practice with patience and positivity. I focus on improving their technique, rhythm, and overall confidence, making each session more effective and enjoyable. I have a strong interest in music and a solid understanding of music theory. If students have favourite songs, I am happy to play them—whether it’s anime opening or ending themes or other pieces they enjoy. This often helps create a fun and friendly atmosphere, making children more excited about learning. My goal is to reassure both students and parents that piano practice can be not only productive, but also inspiring and motivating.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology For many children, practising piano can feel repetitive or boring. My role as a practice coach is to keep them company, guide them patiently, and help them overcome the frustration that often appears during practice. I focus on correcting fingerings, rhythm issues, and other technical gaps to make each practice session more efficient and enjoyable. I aim to build confidence step by step and create a warm, encouraging learning atmosphere. Typical Length of a Lesson Each session lasts 60 minutes, with a balance of guided practice, technique correction, and supportive encouragement. Qualifications and Tutoring Experience I am an ABRSM Grade 8 pianist with experience helping younger students practise effectively. I have worked with students in entry-level piano learning and understand how to support beginners through patient guidance and positive reinforcement. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are suitable for children and young beginners, especially those who need support staying motivated, building good practice habits, and improving technique in their early learning stages.
