About Naomi
I have tutored students at Collège Sainte-Marcelline in Montreal during a few years. I have helped a student to pass from D grades to A grades starting the third year of secondary. Now, she has an actuarial diploma and is herself tutoring mathematics to other young students. I am now working as a health professional and I have 2 bachelors. The first is biopharmaceutical sciences and the second is a Major in Dietetics, which permitted me to apply to be a dietitian.

The first lesson: I will assess the student's level in mathematics and I usually require the student to show me their latest exams and their notebooks. A short lesson will be held on a topic that they need help with. I adapt my lessons based on the topics that the student learned during the week or struggle with as well as on the homework that they have. I teach students to write clear theory notes in a notebook and to organize their logic in their math exercises. I am a tutor that likes to follow a student long-term during a year (or months) and not a one-time lesson. Therefore, I prefer having not too many students, so I can focus my attention on individualizing the lessons for each of my students. My lessons are for students that are ready to work hard and that are in primary to high school level. I can give my lessons in French or English. I am open to do live lessons at my place or at a meet-up point if distance is appropriate.
