About Jessica
With a strong foundation in fashion and innovation, I hold an MA in Biodesign from Central Saint Martins and a BA in Fashion Design from the University of South Wales, Cardiff. My journey through traditional and digital fashion has equipped me with a broad and dynamic design perspective, which I now bring into the 3D digital fashion space.
During my BA, I gained hands-on industry experience through internships with renowned fashion houses, including Ralph & Russo in London and international labels such as Bianca Spender, KITX, and Ginger & Smart in Sydney, Australia. These experiences deepened my understanding of the global fashion landscape and the intricacies of both design and garment construction.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge of the fashion industry—particularly how it intersects with emerging technologies. As a certified Clo3D instructor, I create and teach 3D digital fashion design, with my work having been showcased at Digital Fashion Week events in London, Paris, and Milan.

Throughout my 4 year BA Fashion Design course, I used Clo3d and Marvelous Designer. I created my Graduate Collection during the 2021 Covid lockdown, which comprised a 6-look range of tops, jackets and skirts created and presented in Clo3d. I further used these to produce digital patterns, which allowed me to create two looks physically. These featured a multitude of materials, print design and embroidery techniques.
My experience in physical pattern cutting and sewing allows me to build accurate 3D garments which can be showcased digitally using the site.
Ideally, a student would come with a particular project in mind that we could work together to build. Alternatively, I would start by going through the basics of what each tool does and over a 4-6 week period we would explore different methods of pattern cutting, material embellishment and garment creation.

From our first lesson, I really liked that she had a plan for our lessons and gave me a direction on how to approach my project. I really liked that we started on the narrative and mood board for my project; before learning about Clo3D.
It gave me a stronger understanding of my project and the narrative I am trying to tell. I am super grateful for the resources she have sent me about the theme of my project - I learnt so much.
In terms of teaching CLO3D, I really like that we started on making basic garments and explored the different details we could add to the garment. Also, I liked how she showed me other softwares like Maximo and Adobe Source and how it could be used with Clo3D.
