About Zuvhir
I graduated the IB Diploma with a 44 (out of 45) (equivalent Atar 99.80). I focus on STEM subjects and the IB Diploma program, however I have also taught students outside of the IB. I primarily tutor senior high school students, but I do have some students who are younger and I am happy to tailor the lesson plan, times and costs accordingly.
I received 7 in Maths Analysis & Approaches HL, 7 in Chemistry HL and 7 in Physics HL. I am happy to help with teaching coursework, going over questions or, in the case of IB, looking at IAs (internal assessments). I am currently studying medicine as an undergraduate degree.

My personal teaching methodology is to focus on understanding. With the vast amount of information you must be able to recall in STEM subjects, I think developing a strong understanding is the first base to success.
This process looks different for each student (to suit different learning styles and needs). For senior high school students I understand the stakes and strongly focus on the course. I develop plans and study structures to ensure that the time the student spends studying is as efficient as possible.
In a similar manner, my lesson lengths can vary, however the typical standard is one hour. I am of the belief however that the lesson lengths should flow naturally. If the lesson needs to end earlier because we have reached a natural stop, so be it, or if the lesson needs to continue longer to finish a topic, this is the way it will be.
Most importantly, I think the key to success in any subject is to develop a love for it. I aim in all my students, to show them the beauty of maths, physics and chemistry
