About Emily
I am an Aussie/French administrative professional in my mid-twenties with a love for French culture and language. I am an experienced tutor, having taught a wide array of students over the past five years. I grew up in Adelaide but I currently live in Melbourne with my partner.
I understand the frustrations and challenges that come with learning a new language, and I would love to help you on your language-learning journey!

My name is Emily, I am a dual French-Australian citizen, university graduate and experienced French tutor offering French tutoring services in Perth and online. I completed my Bachelor of Psychological Science with my Diploma of Languages (French) at the University of South Australia in 2020, achieving excellent results.
I am a supportive and patient tutor who has supported a wide range of French learners over the past few years, including mature-age, high-school and university-level students. I also have experience facilitating small-group French tutorials with University of Melbourne French students.
When I was sixteen, I participated in a three-month exchange to a French high-school and in my early twenties participated in an intensive immersion subject in the town of Besançon. Following my studies, I have since taken numerous trips to France to visit relatives and friends.
I hold a B2 level of French competency and would absolutely love to help you on your French learning journey - whatever that looks like for you. I can offer homework help, support with conversational fluency or grammar practice at beginner levels through to intermediate.
My tutoring style is supportive and patient and my availability is flexible. My typical lesson length is 45-60 minutes, and can be conducted over Zoom or at a mutually convenient location.
