About Jimi
Hi, my name is Jimi. I am from Johannesburg, and currently reside in Cape Town.
I have a proven academic track record through graduating my A Levels and university both with distinction. I also have consistent experience in tutoring French at both high school and university levels.
What makes me a good tutor is that I am able to combine my academic capacities with my personal traits. My calmness and personable skills are characteristics about myself which enrich my lessons.

The methodology which I bring to my lessons is based on interactiveness, and linking theory and/or grammar to practical scenarios. For instance, this is done by incorporating games into sessions, and making the language-learning experience one that is enjoyable for both myself and my students.
I do not limit myself to approaches either. I value constructive feedback and find it enriching when my students tell me how to go about sessions in ways that could be more beneficial to their learning. This positive give-and-take is vital when learning a language.
English is my mother tongue, and I have a comfortable C1 level for French. Being bilingual allows me to switch between the two, and thus accommodate beginners, or those seeking to take their proficiency to the next level !
