About Jade
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 17+ years of experience helping high school and college students achieve language proficiency and academic success. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised instruction, where lessons are designed to align with the student’s strengths, goals, and preferred learning style.
I integrate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking exercises with interactive practice and real-life examples to make learning practical and engaging. I focus on building confidence, encouraging students to actively participate, ask questions, and take risks in communication.

I follow a holistic teaching methodology focused on Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. My lessons integrate creative tasks such as storytelling, role-playing, and projects that inspire students to use English innovatively and confidently.
Communication is emphasised through interactive discussions, debates, and group exercises, helping students gain fluency, improve comprehension, and confidently express their ideas. Compassion is at the core of my practice; I carefully assess each student’s strengths and challenges to design personalised lessons that motivate and support them.
Problem-solving is embedded through real-world scenarios, analytical tasks, and critical thinking activities that encourage learners to apply English practically and think logically. In addition to ESL, I teach complementary subjects such as writing skills, reading comprehension, and communication strategies to provide a well-rounded academic experience.
This methodology equips students with strong English proficiency, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for both academic success and real-life challenges.
