About Mae
I am an enthusiastic French tutor with 17+ years of experience teaching students of all levels. Having worked with approximately 150–200 learners, I am skilled in adapting my teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalised learning. I design lessons that are tailored to each student’s goals, ensuring that they remain engaged and motivated throughout their learning journey.
I use a variety of techniques, including interactive discussions, role-playing, and practical exercises, to enhance learning. My focus on communication and real-life application helps students use French confidently.
With a patient and positive approach, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving. My aim is to help learners achieve fluency while enjoying the process of learning French.

Through empathy and compassion, I create a welcoming environment where students feel encouraged to practise and improve. I focus on communication by incorporating activities that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in an integrated way.
Collaboration is encouraged through interactive exercises such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life simulations that make learning practical and enjoyable.
In addition to French, I incorporate grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and cultural insights to provide a comprehensive understanding of the language. This approach helps students gain confidence and apply their knowledge effectively in real-world contexts.
