About Amelie
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 19 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping students develop their musical talents and gain confidence through learning the violin.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and strong communication. I believe students perform best when they feel supported and motivated. Therefore, I design lessons that are customized to individual learning styles and goals.
Over the years, I have guided many students toward steady improvement and successful performances. One of my greatest achievements is seeing students who started with no musical background become confident violin players.
I focus on technique, rhythm, posture, and musical expression while making lessons enjoyable and engaging. My aim is to help students develop both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, and I always adapt my lessons to suit individual needs and goals. I create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure.
In violin lessons, I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, and music reading. I teach concepts step by step and provide practical exercises that help students build confidence and improve steadily.
I also encourage regular practice and provide constructive feedback to help students recognize their progress. My aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping students achieve their personal goals.
Besides violin, I can teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm training. These subjects strengthen students' musical understanding and help them become well-rounded musicians.
My goal is to inspire students to develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
